Business Development Manager




We are currently working with a market-leading business who offer training solutions and services to SME and large corporate businesses Globally.

Due to continued success and year on year organic growth, they are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join them to further expand their client base globally and develop long standing relationships with existing clients.

As the Business Development Manager, you will be reaching out to clients who have previously enquired about training, attended courses or may be interested and benefit from my clients' services.

This will involve a mixture of sales methods including outbound calling, video calls, client meetings, networking etc.

  • Contacting decision makers within large corporate businesses and SMEs

  • Using a consultative sales approach to generate interest and build strong relationships with clients

  • Attending sales meetings (over video and face to face) to close and build on sales

  • Attending relevant events and further expand your network

  • Consistently managing a flow of new and existing business

  • Building a knowledge of companies and clients to become an ‘expert' in your field

  • Keeping in touch with key contacts and clients and building strong working relationships

  • Gaining referrals and recommendations from your network

  • Working alongside the Directors to have an instrumental hand in growing the business


  • Must have 2 years' experience within a Business Development Manager / Account Manager / Business Development Executive / Sales Executive / Telesales Executive

  • Experience selling Training / Solutions to large corporate businesses

  • Creative thinking and the ability to seek innovative solutions to complex technical/business problems.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; the ability to interact effectively with clients and build relationships.

  • A high level of confidence and a positive ‘can-do' attitude.

  • A team-focused attitude, with the ability to confidently carry out projects independently also.

  • An aptitude for hard work and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Flexibility to adapt to change in a fast-moving, project-based consulting environment.


  • Up to £45,000 basic salary

  • Uncapped commission (OTE £90,000)

  • Able to work from home

  • Proven, successful and structured development programme

  • Excellent progression opportunities
