Retail & Customer Service Assistant

We are looking for a Retail and Customer Service Assistant to join this retail business where you will be advising customers in all aspects of sales and service for products in person or over the phone.

Overall making a positive contribution to overall team environment.

Your key responsibilities will be :

  • Undertake retail and customer service activities within the companies shop to optimise and exceed sales targets, profitability and customer satisfaction

  • Identifying and passing on sale leads

  • Manage cash and payment systems in accordance with company procedures and policies

  • Assisting customers with sales, queries and after sales service

  • Conduct stock takes as requested

  • Re-stocking/replenishing items

  • Meeting sales goals, targets and objectives

  • Attend training sessions

  • Understand the range of company products

  • Administration of sales orders received

  • Administer any returns

  • Handle parts enquiries

  • Visit customers externally when required

  • Attend training, meetings and company events

Skills and attributes required:

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues

  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Highly organised

  • MS Offfice skills

  • Customer centric individual
