Field Based Sales Manager

Are you an experienced ‘field based' Sales Manager looking for your next exciting opportunity?


We have an Inbound Tour Operator looking for a proven (sales) leader to come and join their growing company!


The role:


Reporting to the Head of commercial, the person is required to ensure a consistent high level of performance in both revenue generation and the customer service levels of the sales team.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Responsible of achievement of the sales revenue target in line with company objectives.

  • Develop strategies and identify new opportunities within the channel to grow revenue

  • Identify opportunities to promote and create awareness of company products and services management of the street sales and the visitor centre team up to 20 people in season

  • Develop and animate sales through the bus channel, in close relationship with operations

  • Ensure the street sales team deliver a high level of service to clients

  • Coordinate street sales staff targets, rota and locations

  • Coach and develop the street sales supervisors and consultants.

  • Manage general sales administration including recruitment, weekly payroll, cashing up staff etc.

  • Contribute to sales tool improvement, and especially the ticketing system.



Experience and Skills:



Minimum 3 years ‘Field' Sales Manager experience or similar role


Degree - Bachelors ideally in Tourism, Hospitality, Sales or Marketing (desirable)


Proven leadership experience within a sales role.


Able to communicate in a confident and influential manner.


Microsoft office - Intermediate.



The Package:



This is a full-time position (70% field based in London) paying an annual salary of £40,000 - £45,000 + bonus
