Supply Chain Administrator

A fantastic Temp to Perm (12 weeks) opportunity has arisen for an experienced Supply Chain Administrator based in Doncaster (DN4)

Working for an established manufacturing business, the role of Supply Chain Administrator plays a key role in the manufacturing cycle from raw material entering the site to finished product leaving the factory.

As Supply Chain Administrator, your responsibilities will include:


  • Downloading delivery requirements from SAP each morning
  • Adding deliveries to UK and Export load plan
  • Updating transport costs on UK and Export load plans
  • Ensuring warehouse have an up to date load plan and are informed of any changes during the week
  • Transport booking for export and UK customers, while minimising shipping costs using the most effective hauliers
  • Work closely with both the material and production planners, as well as logistics to fulfil their requirements
  • Chase loading and landing dates for deliveries due into the business
  • Deal efficiently with any queries relating to any delays to orders / deliveries and notifying the relevant sales offices in good time
  • Liaising directly with customers on any significant variances or issues
  • Creating commercial documents for export loads
  • Assisting in the import clearance of export loads as an when required
  • Approving hauliers’ invoices
  • Coordinate delivery bookings via email and telephone on behalf of logistics department
  • Receive deliveries and returns and reconcile delivery notes with the correct purchase orders / RGA’s
  • Record and measure necessary department KPI’s
  • Attend meetings when required

The successful Supply Chain Administrator will work Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:00 and receive a salary of £21199.41 per annum plus company benefits.

This role is initially a Temporary position which will become a Permanent role after successfully completing 12 weeks.
