EMEA Payroll Specialist

Job Description:

Are you a passionate UK payroll specialist who is eager to join a firm at the forefront of world-class technology? Our client has a fantastic opportunity in their dynamic Corporate Payroll department.

Sitting in the dedicated Finance team and reporting to the Payroll Manager, this role requires the ability to develop close working relationships with colleagues across many departments throughout their worldwide organisation whilst acting as a front-line representative with their benefit and payroll providers.

You will have an active role in the global payroll operations ensuring that each stage of the payroll process for their Europe and Asia employees are actioned efficiently and accurately.


Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Experience with ADP Streamline.

  • Strong experience with UK payroll.

  • Capability and desire to learn Asian offices payroll.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment.

  • Ability to collaborate and establish relationships cross-functionally with HR, Legal, and other business partners.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Highly organised and attentive to detail when working to tight deadlines.

  • Demonstrate initiative and handle constantly evolving priorities and contending demands.


Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Proficient in the use of the SAP.

  • Demonstrable leadership experience in a coaching/supervisory or project-lead capacity.

  • Flexible problem solver willing to take on any task and lead a wide range of ongoing projects assigned to you.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Process Europe and Asia payroll every pay period.

  • Maintain payroll processing system and records by capturing, calculating and inputting data.

  • Adhere to payroll procedures and align with relevant country law.

  • Take ownership to complete year-end payroll processes in each relevant jurisdiction, such as P45's and P60's in the UK.

  • Process starters, leavers, contract changes and ensure the payroll records are updated accordingly.

  • Process monthly, year-end and ad hoc reports.

  • Respond to all payroll queries received in a professional and efficient manner.

  • Coordinate with the wider Finance department to ensure monthly reconciliations are undertaken which align to approved processes and procedures.
