Clinical Negligence Solicitor

Are you a defendant Clinical Negligence Solicitor looking for a new challenge? Do you want to join the expanding department of a leading firm within this sector? If so, this role in Leeds city centre could be for you!

While this leading national firm has an already established and successful Clinical Negligence department, it is a relatively new offering out of the Leeds office and so this is a pivotal time for the department as it looks to further its existing success in the local market.

You would be a key part of this expansion.

You would have the opportunity to be involved in both claims work and wider medical law matters such as Inquests and Court of Protection matters making this a varied and interesting opportunity.

Over the past 10 years, the firm has built a practice based on offering the best advice, resulting in repeat business from clients in the public, private and third sector.

They are strongly embedded within this sector and have a reputation for excellence.

Joining the team, you will be involved in cases at the forefront of the industry including matters at the High Court and Court of Appeal that have a real impact on case law.

You will be working in a friendly and close team environment, both locally and nationally, and will be fully supported in the role.

You will also have access to a sophisticated and streamlined case management system that will allow you to focus on providing the very best service to your clients.

You will have plenty of client contact and the chance to get involved in business development, so if this is something you enjoy or wish to become more involved in, then this is a great opportunity.

You will have the chance to make a name for yourself in the firm and will be able to work at the level of your skills rather than being within a team that is too heavily structured.

Whilst the work is predominantly defendant clinical negligence there is also some wider work including inquest, and wider health related litigation.

Our client is ideally looking for someone with a minimum of 1 year PQE in Defendant Clinical Negligence, however those who are NQ level, have amassed training contract experience in this area and have a genuine desire to progress their career in it are strongly encouraged to apply.
