£350 - 400 a day (outside IR35) - immediate start

Our client is a digital debt and arrears management solution which help provide extensible debt management, collection and recovery solution for the digital age.

Their cloud-native solution maximises operational efficiency, reduces the cost to collect and ensures that they deliver the best possible customer service while protecting businesses from reputational and regulatory risk.

They are now looking for a Software Project Manager to join the business.

The candidate will work on their medium to large projects manage the day to day running of clients, these tend to be banks or in the utilities/ energy sector.

You will need to be technically competent and be able to dig out information from stakeholders from a high-level spec and understand the implications to create estimations.

They will have to keep clients updated on progress whilst having the technical understanding to deal with client queries and manage their expectations.

The candidate will be the gateway between the customer and the development team ensuring the relevant information is passed down to them to ensure they can focus on the right products being developed.

As new clients are board on brought the PM will have to scope the project plan, governance, dependencies and change requests.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Have a strong technical background or have experience dealing with technical teams

  • A vendor background would be highly desirable

  • Previous experience dealing with large complex clients i.e.

    banks, energy/ utility companies

  • Understand software delivery methodologies - Kanban and Waterfall

  • Strong understanding of the SDLC

  • Strong stakeholder management skills are essential

This is a 3-month contract initially with a strong chance of extension and looking to start in the next couple of weeks.
