VoIP Support Engineer - London - Up to 40k

Unique opportunity to join an industry leading VOIP / CCaaS Provider as a VOIP support engineer - providing technical troubleshooting and support to customers.

This is a rapidly expanding, innovative new generation telecommunications company specialising in IP technology - Open Source and Cloud services.

As a VOIP Support Engineer you will provide technical service desk support to clients.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to new customer implementations (provisioning) and to expand your technical skillset and responsibilities - this company have an excellent track record of promoting internally.

This position will suit a customer service focused individual with a strong technical competence in the following:

Essential Experience:

  • Experience of providing technical support to customers, either working for a service provider or internally.

  • Experience with VOIP technologies and protocols (SIP)

  • Strong TCP/IP knowledge

  • Strong understanding of Routing, Switching and Firewalls

  • Understanding of Linux OS, ability to install and troubleshoot Linux

This position will pay up to £40,000p/a + benefits.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom
