SHEQ Advisor


Our client is one of London's biggest and most reputable recycling and waste management companies.


They currently have an exciting opportunity for a SHEQ Advisor to join the team on a permanent basis.


This new role is designed to assist two of the key compliance managers in the whole SHEQ area to ensure activities are being run legally and ethically and in full compliance with their applicable industry regulations and internal procedures.


During the initial training period the role will heavily be based shadowing experienced and competent colleagues.

You will then develop into a specialist within the SHEQ area.


Full time position.

Main office is based in North West London, however the successful applicant will be required to travel (vehicle provided)


Skills and Requirements:



  • Academic qualifications

  • Previous experience as a SHEQ officer/advisor

  • Previous experience within the construction sector

  • In depth microsoft skills and advanced knowledge of word, powerpoint and excel

  • Full drivers license

  • As mentioned above this is a developing role so we envisage that we will be providing suitable SHEQ qualifications to provide a rounded candidate with appropriate on the job training and professional qualifications.

  • Self-motivated with an analytical mind and a keen eye for detail

  • Ambitious dynamic go getter with a real can do attitude and not afraid to roll up your sleeves if necessary

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

  • Experience of working in a fast paced environment and the ability to balance and prioritise working with two senior managers
