ADMISSIONS OFFICER


MANCHESTER


£24,000 + 35 HOUR WEEK + XMAS SHUTDOWN + FANTASTIC CULTURE


THE OPPORTUNITY


We are currently supporting a highly successful higher educational provider who are looking for an Admissions Officer to join their growing team due to internal promotions.


As the Admissions Officer you will be working with the Academic team to coordinate admissions, applications, timetables, attendance and student support.

You will work alongside a student services administrator and Academic Team Manager to ensure the smooth running of admissions and applications.

THE ADMISSIONS OFFICER ROLE:



  • Processing UCAS applications, downloading UCAS reports and managing applicant data and spreadsheets

  • Managing the status of applications and liaising with applicants throughout the process

  • Sending offers and supporting documents

  • Answering incoming calls and handling queries

  • Preparing staff and student IDs

  • Ensuring accurate records are kept up to date

  • Preparing correspondence for students such as learning agreements

  • Liaising with academic partners

  • Supporting students in their onboarding

  • Create student profiles

  • General administration and PA support e.g taking meeting minutes


THE PERSON:



  • Must have experience within a similar Administration / Admissions Officer role in higher education

  • Excellent knowledge of academic frameworks

  • Experience of Safeguarding policies

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Confident user of Microsoft packages
