The Role:

Executive Personal Assistant

To work internally with our staff and directors and externally with local businesses, partner organisations, stakeholders, providers, press and media.

Main duties and tasks:

As the Executive PA, the role is to support the CEO, Business Director and Education Director and undertake a range of tasks that include:


  • Diary management, meeting planning, reports, meeting minute taking and follow up actions.
  • Attending client meetings with the CEO and Directors as and when required to take minutes and record actions.
  • Being the Health and Safety lead for the organisation, ensuring the business remains compliant at all times and ensuring a professional working environment for all.
  • Sourcing meeting rooms and equipment for the leadership team and colleagues as required.
  • Booking travel and accommodation when required for the CEO and leadership team.
  • Managing relationships with a number of suppliers.
  • Supporting the payroll process.
  • Monitoring and recording all sickness, absence and annual leave.
  • Providing HR admin support where required.
  • Managing the on- boarding process for new starters, including induction to the office, IT, intro to systems and company policies.
  • Undertaking any additional administrative duties required by the business.
  • Adhering to all policies and procedures at all times.

About you:


  • Excellent attention to detail, good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills, ability to multi-task and to deliver work of a high standard to deadline.
  • Ability to take accurate minutes.
  • Ability to monitor and progress chase on actions.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records.
  • IT literate, with experience of using spreadsheet and database packages.
  • Ability to communicate confidently with colleagues and partners at all levels.
  • Experience of supporting HR/induction processes.
  • Ability to work with non-executive directors on the Board
  • Able to develop good interpersonal relationships.
  • Acts as eyes and ears of CEO
  • Experience of dealing with sensitive matters and trusted to maintain confidentiality.

Salary is based on experience: £ 21,000 to £ 26,999
