Contact Centre Advisor

We are currently looking for Contact Centre Staff for a Tech company based in Worcester.

The role will be working in a busy contact centre providing telephone support to customers.

It will involve answering a wide range of enquiries from billing and accounts, to sales advice or technical queries, and identifying opportunities to upsell products and services.

Full training and support is given with this position, but we are looking for well-presented individuals with an excellent telephone manor who has excellent customer service skills.

You will be using a call logging system and be expected to follow through on all problems or issues through to resolution, therefore the ability to pick up new technologies and use computers is essential in addition to good organisational skills.

The company are one of the UK's largest technology companies in their field offering a variety of products and services, therefore you will be expected to keep up to date with new technologies and product offering so that you can best assist the customers.

The normal shifts for this role will be Monday to Friday 9 - 5.30pm, however as this is a busy contact centre there is a rota for Weekends and Bank Holidays (8-4pm) - one in 6, with a day off in the week.

And, Earlies (from 6am) or Evenings (until 7.15pm) - once a week.

Your working week will not exceed 42.5 hours per week, and if you do any overtime at the company's request this will be paid at the set overtime rates.

Previous experience working in a customer service environment

Outstanding customer service skills

Ability to turn your hand to sales, and amazing influencing skills

Excellent communication skills

High levels of organisation

Nice to have Skills

A background in working in an IT/Web/Technical contact centre environment

A background in a sales focused role

Awareness or interest in Technology
