Office Administrator (Maternity Cover)

Full-time temporary position to cover maternity leave with the possibility of the role becoming permanent dependent upon company progression!

Start Date: Mid-February 2022 until March 2023
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Location: Bradley, Huddersfield
Salary: Dependent on experience

About the Company

Our client is a computer software company who operate in almost every area of the British horse racing industry.

They supply systems, including hardware and software to most stakeholders in the industry including the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), Satellite Information Services (SiS) Limited and Racecourse Bookmakers.

About the Role:

They are looking for an experienced Office Administrator to cover maternity leave.

Duties include but are not limited to;


  • Managing company correspondence, including phone calls, emails and post
  • Processing customer orders and invoices
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Posting supplier invoices
  • Updating staffing schedule
  • Organising travel and accommodation requirements
  • Maintaining stock levels
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Updating records and databases
  • General office support

Desired Skills and Experience:


  • Sage 50 accounts
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Previous office experience
