Ward Clerk

In the role of Ward Clerk, you will be responsible for:

  • Completing routine ward documentation which will include various statistics 
  • Typing comprehensive reports in preparation for hearings, reviews and tribunals 
  • Processing documentation in relation to Admissions and Discharges. 
  • Updating, tracking and filing case notes 
  • Maintaining manual/computerised systems
  • General administration duties including photocopying, filing and answering telephones

To be considered for the Ward Clerk job, you must have:

  • Previous experience of administrative & clerical functions (ideally within a medical setting)
  • Strong IT skills including medical software experience
  • Ability to deal with confidential information and remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skills

This is a temporary role for initially 3 months working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

You will be based in their offices in Bodelwyddan and on an hourly salary of £9.51 per hour plus holidays.
