Job description
We're looking for an ambitious & confident individual, with some proven experience in Accounts! - (We appreciate this is administrative role, so we will consider all backgrounds!)
Hilltop Products is an expanding and ambitious company, with huge goals for growth in the coming years.
The right person will be joining us at an exciting time as we look to move into our next stage of growth.
We are well established and well known within the cable, wiring accessories and electrical insulation industries both in the UK and Europe.
We also sell via highly successful eCommerce sites.
The person we are looking for must be both highly flexible and motivated and be confident in working within a busy, fast-paced & somewhat intense dynamic environment!
Job Role:
- Purchase ledger including checking and processing invoices, supplier statements, payment runs, remittances, proforma payments and building good relationships with suppliers.
- Sales ledger including processing account applications, credit checks, credit limit reviews, producing sales invoices/credits, customer queries, payment allocation, credit control, maintaining stop lists and building good relationships with customers.
- Nominal and general admin including bank payments, bank reconciliations, petty cash, assistance with month and year end processes, managing the Accounts inbox and any other ad hoc work.
- Assistance with weekly and monthly payroll and HR including processing starters and leavers, payroll reports, payslips, producing P32s and P60s
Essentials:
Great communication skills, both written & verbally.
Excellent customer service skills, role will involve answering phone calls.
Competent with Sage 50 accounts.
Attention to detail, good problem solving and numeracy skills.
Strong organisational and time management skills along with the ability to manage a varied workload.
Desirables:
Knowledge of Sage 50 payroll.
2 years' experience in and Accounts office environment.
Further Info:
Hours of work at 9am - 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am - 4pm Friday.
