Working for this established Manufacturer in St Heles as a Manufacturing Logistics Specialist you will be responsible for receiving goods / materials, checking against purchase orders, and entering data on Sage 1000, before sorting (including raising non-conformances) and storing.

Accurately picking materials for Works Orders and finished product for Sales Orders.

Ensuring all dispatches are correctly packed using (as appropriate) boxes, pallets and wrapping.

Cleaning and maintaining the working area including the removal of waste.

Undertaking stock audits and performing any other tasks needed in the maintenance and operation of the stores warehouse.

Role overview as the Manufacturing Logistics Specialist

• Accurately and efficiently pick Works and Sales Orders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.


• Ensures efficiency, accuracy, and speed of Goods Inwards and Outwards movements.


• Ensures all stock movements comply with Customs requirements.


• Experience of using MRP, Excel, Word and constructing emails in a polite manner.


• Ensures all parts are packed safely for delivery.


• Works safely, effectively, and accurately.


• Maintains accurate stock records and levels.


• Builds productive and effective working relationships with Company staff.


• Completes paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.


• Undertakes stock audits across the business.


• Ensures Sage system is accurate and up to date.


• Maintains good housekeeping standards.


• Complies with the Company's Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Policies at all times.
  
  

Skills and experience required by the Manufacturing Logistics Specialist

Essential

• Reach / forklift license (training can / will be provided).


• Proven experience in a similar role.


• Communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to think independently and problem solve.


• Numerate and computer literate in standard IT packages.


• Full, clean driving licence.
