Service Manager

A Local Authority is looking for a Qualified Social Worker to be a Service Manager for their Duty & Assessment team in Northamptonshire.

This position is a full-time and permanent.

Duties and Responsibilities for you as the Service Manager:



  • Staff Management

  • Staff Training

  • Strategic Development

  • Working with the Signs of Safety approach

  • Reporting to the Head of Service



Requirements for you as the Service Manager:



  • A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/Diploma)

  • Registered with Social Work England

  • Significant Management experience

  • Significant experience within Duty & Assessment/Safeguarding/First Response

  • An excellent working knowledge and understanding of the current legislation and frameworks relevant to Children Social Care

Salary Scale: £55,485 + £67,784 benefits dependent on experience
