mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Mechanical Engineer required on a full time basis.

Applicants will need a background in heavy industrial / metals.

duties vary but will include:

• Stripping and rebuilding gearboxes and bearings housings to replace bearings (varying types) and seals


• Fault finding and repair on Gear Driven Systems, vertical and horizontal gears, shafts, bearings, seals


• Chain and belt driven drive systems, competent on sizing up , maintaining and repair of these systems, including sprockets and pulleys


• Welding and fabrication a desirable but not a necessity


• Knowledge of Pneumatic and Hydraulic Systems, Cooling Systems


• Knowledge of Pumps and pumping systems
