Corporate Solicitor

Fabulous opportunity for a Corporate Solicitor looking to take a leading role within a well-established Yorkshire practice who are looking to further develop their Corporate team.

Operating within the middle market, this role would suit an experienced lawyer who is comfortable running their own transactions and has the confidence to really embed themselves in the local market.

They don't need you to bring work on day one but business development will be core to this role going forward.

The role could suit someone at one of the larger Leeds firms looking to exert more independence, and step into a partner role with all that means from a wider perspective including inputting in the strategy and direction of the team.

Alternatively, it could be someone looking to move from a slightly smaller firm and benefit from the structure and reputation of a strong mid-tier Leeds firm including marketing, strong business development support, brand awareness, quality colleagues, referral opportunities and strong infrastructure.

The range of the work that they currently undertake includes all aspects of corporate transactional work, including acquisitions and disposal, deals with VC and PE backed buyers; shareholder agreements and advising on group re-organisations; MBO's and JV agreements.
