Job Opportunity: Housing Scheme Manager
Location: Reading
Position Type: Part-time, 17.5 hours per week (3.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday)
Driving: Desirable
DBS Requirement: Enhanced (Essential)

We are currently seeking a dedicated Housing Scheme Manager to join our team in Reading.

This part-time role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our mission of creating thriving communities.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the housing scheme, ensuring the well-being and safety of residents

  • Provide support and assistance to residents, including resolving issues and signposting to relevant services

  • Maintain effective communication with residents, staff, and external stakeholders

  • Oversee property management tasks, including maintenance and health and safety checks

  • Collaborate with external agencies and service providers to meet the needs of residents

  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

  • Keep accurate records and documentation related to resident support and property management



Requirements:



  • Enhanced DBS clearance is essential for this role

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents and colleagues

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage own workload

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the housing sector is desirable

  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is preferred
