Lead Physiotherapist - Permanent

Maxxima have recently partnered with a leading healthcare provider. We are currently looking for an experienced Lead Physiotherapist who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership for the service.

This post is based in Birmingham, which is easily accessible via public transport.

About the role:
As a  Lead Physiotherapist, you will be working in a clinical and service development capacity to ensure the service to patients is planned, delivered, and evaluated in line with evidence-based practice.

Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to help create and maintain a robust service whilst seamlessly incorporating other centre services.

 Your main responsibilities as a Lead Physiotherapist:

- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for patients with various presentations, utilizing advanced clinical reasoning skills to formulate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Provide specialist advice, support, and training to team members.
- Adhere to professional standards set by the Health and Care Professions Council and Chartered Society of Physiotherapists.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment programs based on evidence-based practice and clinical expertise.
- Regularly evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Assess patients' readiness for discharge and coordinate referrals to other services when necessary.
- Identify areas for further learning and engage in reflective practice.

What we are looking for in a Lead Physiotherapist:

- Graduate Diploma or BSc in Physiotherapy.
- Registration with MCSP and HCPC.
- Experience in providing care to diverse patient cohorts, including those undergoing general in-patient surgery, ITU, and respiratory treatment.
- Significant postgraduate experience in relevant settings.
- Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures, along with health and safety training.
