Location: Nottingham, NG3 5HL
DBS Level: Enhanced (Both adult and child, barred)
Service Users: Young People aged 16 and above requiring support
Working Hours: Night shifts including weekends and bank holidays; Unsocial allowance payment included
Car Driver Requirement: Yes
Own Vehicle Requirement: Yes
Valid Business Insurance: Yes

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Waking Night Workers in Nottingham.

This role provides crucial support to young people aged 16 and above, ensuring their safety and well-being during night shifts.

Main Duties of the Role:



  • Implement night security systems to maintain the safety and security of the housing service.

  • Monitor access to the services and visitors, ensuring compliance with policies.

  • Meet health and safety requirements, promptly responding to faults and incidents.

  • Log and report incidents, complaints, and anti-social behavior.

  • Perform domestic tasks, including cleaning communal areas, to maintain a clean and tidy environment for service users.

  • Maintain accurate records and complete handovers at the start and end of shifts with day staff.



Additional Information:



  • Car drivers must have business insurance as required by law.

  • Support workers will manage a caseload of up to 10 clients.

  • All roles involve lone working.

  • Enhanced adult/child barred DBS clearance is mandatory for all roles, as it is a young person service.
