Senior Legal Counsel

Sacco Mann is delighted to be working alongside a Private Equity backed and hugely ambitious environmental consultancy, which has an established legal function and now requires a senior solicitor to support the Head of Legal.

The role can be mainly worked on a remote basis with occasional presence in their south Manchester headquarters.

Its likely to suit a UK qualified solicitor with at least 4 years PQE gained in commercial law or contracts and the role will primarily include negotiating, drafting, reviewing and advising on higher value, complex commercial contracts (both supply-side and client-side) to include framework agreements, work orders and subcontracts ensuring adherence to best practice contracting standards.

This is a senior position and will require some mentoring of the less experienced members of the team as well as reviewing higher value, complex contracts at bid stage and assisting the Bids Team with suitable reservations/ deviations.

This is a role which offers the successful candidate an opportunity to play a small part is some exciting and pioneering projects concerning renewables, sustainability and the environment.

It can be worked remotely in the main with occasional travel into their HQ in South Manchester.

Salary is likely to be in the region of £70-£75k+ benefits.
