Adult's Social Worker
We are looking for a Senior Adult's Social Worker to join an Adult's Early Support Team at Manchester City Council.
This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.
About you
You will be an experienced Senior Social Worker with two years' experience with substantial knowledge in an Adult Social Care setting and ability to work in line with the appropriate legislation, (Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act 1983, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Human Rights Act 1998) guidelines, policies, and procedures.
It is also essential to have a degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) - with a minimum of three years in an Adult's Social Work setting.
A valid Social Work England registration is required.
Full UK driving license with access to a vehicle is essential.

The aim of the team is to provide impactful strengths-based working at the front door to prevent, reduce or delay needs from escalating to maximise independence and enable Manchester residents to achieve their best outcomes at the earliest opportunity.
This opportunity gives you experience of being at the forefront of social work, as the service is the first point of contact in Adult Social Care, for adults who are experiencing a range of solutions.
