Charles Hunter Associates are currently recruiting for a Qualified Children's Social Worker to join a Family Safeguarding service on a Locum basis.

About the team

This team strive to implement positive change in children, families and carers lives by using systemic social work methods.

The team work within pods to optimise the management, oversight and support to all Social Workers.

There are 5 Social Workers and 1 Manager per POD.

About you

The successful candidate will be confident undertaking comprehensive assessments including parenting assessments in a timely way to inform development of outcome focused care plans with Children and their Families.

They will be able to undertake care proceedings within the court, both private and public as well as initiating and completing within court timescales to achieve permanency plans for children including adoption.
