We are looking for an Adult's Social Worker to join the Community Mental Health Older Peoples Team.

THIS POST REQUIRES A SOCIAL WORK QUALIFICATION OF A MINIMUM 2 YEAR POST EXPERIENCE.

About the team

This team works within a mental health hospital, the team aids vulnerable adults over the age of 65.

The team will work with those who need support within their day to day lives, setting up care packages, working with other agencies within the service.

Some key responsibilities of this team will be to carry out assessment, undertake face to face visits, liaise with families and undertake a caseload.

About you

A Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) within a minimum of 1 year post ASYE experience is required.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with Mental Capacity Act, Care Act 2014, and Section 42.

Experience of working with NHS, Mental Health and or CMHT will be highly desired for this post.
