Job Description

A highly professional Law firm is seeking a motivated and organised Conveyancing Assistant to join their expanding team.

The successful candidate will support the Head of Department and a team of Solicitors and Conveyancing professionals with administrative support to ensure the delivery of excellent client care from inception to completion of their property transactions.


Responsibilities

  • Preparing quotes

  • Dealing with straight forward enquiries

  • Diary management

  • Preparing documents for each stage of the property transaction when required to do so by the file handler

  • Carrying out various requests from the file handlers in order to assist them with the running of the transaction.

  • Taking calls, transferring through to the relevant file handler or taking messages


Requirements

  • Previous experience of working within a conveyancing department

  • Excellent communication and literacy skills

  • Flexible attitude to work

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • The ability to work independently

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Experience of using Microsoft Office packages and case management system
