Position Summary:


You will lead and design Lean Manufacturing goals and strategies for improving the operations and processes within the organization.

Manages all activities for continuous improvement and performance enhancement.

Employs Lean methodologies and tools to accomplish business objectives.


Essential Functions:

  • Analyzing, develop, and enhance current strategies for company processes and procedures.
  • Investigating gaps, issues, and complaints in current business processes.
  • Establishing norms and standards of company performance.
  • Manage teams, and mentor staff performance and organizational processes.
  • Collaborating, communicate ideas with other stakeholders to enhance productivity and staff satisfaction.
  • Training, and guiding team members in new processes.
  • Staying up to date with developments in management and process optimization.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, process management, or operations.

  • 5 years + experience in process optimization, operations, or business management in manufacturing.

  • 2+ years managing a team.

  • Domestic travel up to 50%

Desired Qualification:

  • Lean Six Sigma- green or black belt.


Physical Requirements:


Lifting up to 50 pounds; exposure to chemicals including but not limited to: Amines, Polyamides, Isocyanates, Epoxies, Alkyds, Acrylics, and certain inorganic compounds.

Personal protective equipment would be utilized.

Must pass annual respirator medical evaluation and pulmonary function test as required by OSHA.
