Court of Protection Solicitor

National, well-established firm are looking to recruit an experienced Court of Protection Solicitor into their Birmingham offices.

This Top 50 legal practice works with an established client base, which includes household names.

In this Court of Protection Solicitor role, you will be joining a tight-knit team, including Partners, that works across a varied caseload that will include complex property and affairs deputyship work.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

, Management of Property and Affairs Deputyship

, Creating/monitoring budgets and forecast forward spending

, Supporting with the sales and purchase of property and other high-value assets

, Liaising with clients, case managers, therapists, care teams, investment managers and other third parties

, Preparing all types of application to the Court of Protection to include Deputy appointment, ACC, urgent applications, and other applications for authority that may fall outside the Deputy's general authority

, Supervising and delegating more junior members of the team

The successful candidate will ideally have 3+ years' PQE, have a genuine interest in specialising in Court of Protection work, has excellent client care skills and is wanting to establish themselves in a busy, friendly team.
