Synergi are recruiting for a Reliability Engineer to join one of the leading Food Manufacturers within their sector.

This is the chance to join a company whose products can be found in most supermarkets in the UK.

Successful Reliability Engineer would be joining an experienced team of Maintenance Engineers with a vast amount of experience.

Responsibilities of a Reliability Engineer:

• Focusing on increasing current line OEE levels and implementing Line Improvements based on removal of repeat breakdowns and better line availability to Operations.


• To have deep dives into reoccurring issues, removing current roadblocks in increasing machine availability.


• PPMs, Preventative, Predictive and Corrective maintenance.


• Support any installations of new machinery and trials.


• Reducing line changeover times and assistance in training for autonomous maintenance.


• Assist the production engineers in breakdowns if their workload exceeds their capacity due to workload or availability due to Holidays or sickness.


• Supporting Project Engineers on installation, final execution, ramp up and hand over to production.


• Any additional duties relevant to the position deemed by Management.

What We're Looking for In You:

• A conscientious and hard-working individual that can work with the Engineering Maintenance team.


• Work in a team environment or on their own building good communications with operations and the Maintenance Planner to assist the wider Engineering team.


• Proactively work on increasing line availability through reduced change over times, removal of repeat breakdowns, implementing improvements in PPMs, Preventative and corrective maintenance.


• Writing one-page instructions online to recover from breakdowns and lessons learned, increasing line OEE and helping in sourcing parts from suppliers.
  
  
  
  Skills Required for a Reliability Engineer:

• FMCG experience essential.
