We are looking for an Infrastructure Programmer to join our client's new team on contract basis, who will help to prepare for the company's data operation transformation.

Suitable candidates need to have experience with pipeline transformation projects and technical domains in data transformation and data migration with years of experience.

The programming language is secondary in that respect.

Requirements:

• Experience writing data transformation pipelines (ETL pipelines) in any of the following: Python, Scala, or Java (or preferably a mix)


• Knowledge of DataFrame structures and standard binary file formats (such as Parquet)


• Knowledge of common data lake patterns


• Experience with GCP data and pipeline components such as Big Query, Big Table, Dataflow, Kubernetes


• Experience with developing in GCP's CI/CD environment and Git


• Experience with monitoring one's pipelines and components through services such as Google Cloud Monitoring or similar
