Production Operative with FLT duties

We’re Hiring – Production Operative

Swillington, Leeds
£14 per hour
Temp to Perm, Full-Time – 35 hours/week (Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 3:45pm, Friday 07:30am – 11:30am)

We’re looking for a skilled Production Operator to join our colleague’s team at their COMAH site in Swillington, Leeds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Checking and measuring the weight of products/materials
• Monitoring and managing the full production process from start-finish
• Performing basic maintenance on machinery
• Completion of any required paperwork.
• Following health and safety guidelines
• Working towards production targets.
• Safe use of FLT Counterbalance truck.

What we’re looking for:

✅ RELIABILITY

✅ Valid FLT Licence – Counterbalance

✅ Comfortable lifting up to 20kg

✅ Basic mechanical skills (no formal qualifications needed)

✅ Good with numbers and reading – numerate and literate

✅ Experience working with hazardous materials a plus

✅ Self-motivated individual who can use own initiative

✅ Target driven and can work to deadlines

✅ Happy to work in various departments when needed
