The role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join a well-established team in central Leeds, handling a broad mix of contentious matters.

You'll be involved in a wide range of disputes including contractual issues, shareholder and partnership disputes, professional negligence claims, debt recovery, and property litigation.

You'll have the autonomy to manage your own caseload while working alongside experienced colleagues on more complex matters.

The role offers a balance of independence and collaboration, with opportunities to get involved in client relationship management and business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of commercial litigation files.


• Assist senior colleagues with the preparation of legal documents.


• Provide accurate and practical legal advice to clients on all aspects of commercial litigation law.


• Excellent client care skills and the ability to build good rapport.


• Conduct due diligence on every file.


• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.


• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet targets for fees and time recording


• Ensure aged debt and matter balances are dealt with promptly and efficiently.

About you

• Minimum of 1 year's post qualification experience in complex Commercial Litigation


• Proven ability to manage a busy caseload independently and efficiently
