We are looking for a Children's Advanced Practitioner to join a Locality Team.

It is REQUIRED to have a Social Work Qualification with at least 3 years of post-qualified permanent contract/s.

About the team

The team works openly and collaboratively with children, parents and families to get the best outcomes when going through Referral and Assessment, Child in Need or Child Protection plans.

This position is responsible for holding a smaller than usual number of cases that are more complex in nature.

Due to the experience level this position requires, providing advice and guidance to less experienced Social Workers in the team is a part of the role - without holding any formal supervisory responsibilities.

About you

Experience working as an Advanced Practitioner or similar in a Locality Team will lend well to this role.

It is necessary to have a degree within Social Work (Degree/ DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years post qualified permanent experience.

A valid UK driving licence and a caris preferred but not essential.
