Teach Plus is currently working with a 2-form entry primary school in Waltham Forest, rated ‘Good' by Ofsted, and known for its inclusive ethos and high expectations for all pupils.

The school is seeking a motivated and committed Year 5 Teacher to join their team from September.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is eager to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences while building pupils' confidence and preparing them for the challenges of Year 6.

The school offers a collaborative environment with strong leadership and supportive colleagues, making it an ideal setting to develop your teaching practice.

As a Year 5 Teacher, you will be expected to:
➢ Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum
➢ Support the academic, social, and emotional development of all pupils in your class
➢ Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and wellbeing
➢ Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging learning opportunities across the curriculum
➢ Support pupils in developing independence, resilience, and a love for learning
➢ Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers to support progress and attainment
➢ Use formative and summative assessment to track pupil progress and inform teaching

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
➢ A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly Year 5
➢ Experience teaching in upper Key Stage 2
➢ A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to supporting every child to succeed
➢ Excellent communication and classroom management skills
➢ UK-recognised teaching qualification with QTS
➢ An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
➢ The right to work in the UK
