Employment Solicitor

Our client is a highly renowned and award-winning commercial law firm who are recruiting for an Employment Solicitor to join them in their Newcastle offices.

The firm support regional clients and well-known multinational brands, and this is a great opportunity to become a part of a growing and highly ambitious firm.

The Role

Joining this well-established team, you will support the wider team with non-contentious projects and contentious collective consultation, disciplinary and grievance processes and resisting employment tribunal claims, whilst developing your own portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising clients on contracts, dismissals, tribunals and disciplinaries


• Drafting and reviewing documents


• Handling employment tribunal claims


• Developing your own portfolio

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with between 2 - 3 years PQE in employment law, including previous experience with both contentious and non-contentious employment law advisory work.


• Keen to play a key role in the growth and development of the employment team.


• Strong attention to detail.


• Motivated team player.
