Residential Support Worker

I am looking to appoint a Residential Support Worker for a 3 bed children's home based in Kirkham, Preston.

I am looking for someone with either residential experience or someone who is keen to make the move and has some relevant professional experience working with young people such as supported accommodation, SEN education, Fostering or Youth Work.


My client is a fantastic private company who specialise in children's services and have residential homes, supported accommodation and mother and baby units.


The Residential Support Worker role is a permanent full time post based in Kirkham paying £28,981 per annum (£13.27 per hour on 42 hour contract) plus £85 per sleep in (1 x week adds £4,000 to your salary).


The shifts include day shifts of 8am - 8pm and sleep in shifts.


Do you have:



  • Experience of working within children or young adults with learning disabilities, mental health, or behaviours that challenge - SEN School, youth work, community young people, children's learning disabilities, semi-independent services, care leavers, youth justice, children's homes

  • Ability to complete shifts patterns, weekends, and overnight stays.

  • Passion, empathy for working with children and commitment to this career path.

  • Driving License
