Senior Draughtsman

A Senior Draughtsman with strong experience in architectural metalwork, mechanical, pipe, and structural drafting is required in East Kent.

Salary: £60,000 per annum
Hours: 7:30AM - 4:30PM, Monday to Friday
Start: ASAP
Flexible Working: ½ day per week

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and produce detailed design drawings for architectural metal, pipework, mechanical, and structural elements.


• Use SolidWorks, Advanced Steel, and AutoCAD to create accurate models and detailed technical documentation.


• Carry out site surveys as part of the design and validation process.


• Maintain a high level of precision and consistency in all drawing outputs.


• Liaise with engineers, fabricators, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and clear communication.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Draughtsman or strong background in a similar draughting role.


• Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Advanced Steel.


• Solid understanding of architectural metalwork and fabrication processes.


• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.


• Confident communicator and team collaborator.
