
Best Interest Assessor
We are looking for a Best Interest Assessor to join a DoLS team.
This role requires a Social Work qualification with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience.
About the team
This team works to protect vulnerable adults who lack the capacity to consent to their care by ensuring that they are protected and their human rights are upheld.
The day-to-day responsibilities include undertaking both Mental Capacity and best interest assessments, carrying out DoLS reviews and co-ordinating the assessment process under the Mental Capacity Act 2005.

About you
A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 2 years experience is essential in order to be considered for this role.
You must have at least 2/3 years of recent experience as a BIA / DoLS assessor in order to be considered for this role.
A driving licence is crucial for this role.
