Job Responsibilities

As an SEN Teacher, your role will include:




  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of pupils with SEN.




  • Working collaboratively with support staff, SENCOs, and parents to develop personalised learning strategies.




  • Monitoring progress and adapting teaching to ensure every child can achieve their full potential.




  • Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.




  • Contributing to the school's wider community and maintaining its outstanding reputation.




The ideal SEN Teacher will have a passion for inclusive education, a creative approach to differentiation, and the ability to foster a positive and encouraging classroom atmosphere.



Qualifications/Experience

To be considered for this SEN Teacher role, you must have:




  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)




  • Proven experience or a strong interest in working with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)




  • A commitment to providing high-quality, inclusive education




  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills




  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service




  • Right to work in the UK
