Staff accommodation can be provided for the right candidate at an exceptionally competitive rate—£240 per month, including bills, breakfast, and dinner.


The Role

As a Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth and welcoming arrival and departure experience.

You will play a key role in maximising room revenue, providing excellent service, and maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities


  • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs professionally and efficiently
  • Be fully aware of the day’s business: arrivals, departures, and special requests
  • Provide friendly, accurate information about the hotel and local area
  • Handle cash, charges, and till procedures in line with company policies
  • Answer enquiries promptly via phone, email, and in person
  • Resolve guest issues or escalate where necessary to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Attend daily team meetings to stay informed and aligned
  • Maximise sales through effective upselling and promotions
  • Maintain a welcoming, organised and professional front desk environment


About You

We’re looking for someone who:


  • Has at least one year of experience in a hotel reception or customer-facing role
  • Delivers excellent customer service and communicates confidently
  • Can multitask, stay organised and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Is comfortable using computer and telephone systems
  • Takes pride in maintaining high standards and enjoys working as part of a team
