Rocket Propulsion Design Engineer
Seeking a skilled Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineer to design fluid system components, including electro-mechanical valves.
Responsibilities include crafting assembly procedures, generating design documents using CAD and finite element analysis, and ensuring a commitment to safety in on-site activities.
Collaboration on related projects, such as propulsion systems and rocket engine developments, is essential.
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering (2:1 standard).
Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in the space industry.
Proven CAD experience: structural analysis skills advantageous.
Familiarity with fluid system test rig design, instrumentation, and LabView is a plus.
Knowledge of aerospace or space product design, manufacture, and testing.
Familiarity with mechanical hardware and test equipment.
