The Euclid Chemical Company is now hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Cleveland, OH This position is primarily responsible for performing preventative maintenance (PM) tasks to ensure the ongoing reliability, safety, and performance of plant equipment.
In addition to scheduled PMs, this role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems as needed to minimize unplanned downtime.
Technicians will also assist with equipment installations, fabrication, and continuous improvement efforts. Responsibilities and Duties: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and improve equipment life Weld and fabricate components for equipment repair or modification as needed Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild a wide variety of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment Diagnose and repair AC/DC electrical systems using meters, schematics, and other test equipment Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics Accurately complete and update maintenance records using SAP's Plant Maintenance Module Assist with identifying repairs, documenting short- and long-term needs Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance work area Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, man lifts, and scissor lifts Work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various environmental conditions Comply with all OSHA, company, and site-specific safety policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor
Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or similar environment Strong mechanical knowledge, including troubleshooting and repair of pumps, gearboxes, motors, chains, sprockets, pulleys, and belts Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics Skilled in welding, fabrication, and use of cutting equipment Basic computer skills, including the use of email and maintenance High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications or training is a plus
Requirements:
Must be able to work Monday - Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with occasional overtime based on production and maintenance needs. Self-motivated individual who can work independently with minimal supervision. Physical Requirements: The ability to stand, walk, lift, and move for extended periods.
Regular activities include standing, walking, using hands to handle or feel objects, reaching with arms, speaking, and hearing.
Frequent actions include climbing or balancing, while occasional tasks may involve sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
The technician must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
The work environment may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts and occasional vibration, with moderate noise levels typical of an industrial setting.

Essential Functions
Technical Leadership: Provide strategic and hands-on leadership across formulations, QA/QC, field technical support, and regulatory compliance.
Supervise all laboratory operations, ensuring accurate, efficient, compliant testing and reporting of raw materials and finished goods. Contribute, maintain, and manage product project priorities to ensure deadlines are met. Ensure all lab activities and products comply with relevant legal regulations and standards (e.g., EPA, EHS, ACVM, APVMA, MPI, HSNO) and other relevant frameworks.
Manage technical aspects of product development from formulation, scale-up, final product testing, and commercialization to drive process improvements, troubleshooting, and manufacturing excellence. Investigate customer/sales factors to optimize formula design and other technical elements, including but not limited to integration with field trial activities (primarily, not exclusively for established portfolios). Continuous development of CSC capabilities (personnel, facility, etc.).
Reporting & Communication: Set and track quality and technical performance KPIs, report results, risks, and improvement plan. Coordinate technical documentation, validation protocols, and reports as requested.
Communicate effectively across departments and with key stakeholders. Establish, communicate, and update quarterly team member responsibilities and goals. Establish collaborative leadership relationships within RPM businesses.
Knowledge: Stay current with industry trends and emerging marketing technologies.
Contribute to the development of profitable platforms across all segments/markets. CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Construction Manager is responsible for managing all projects (this position will support national accounts).
This will involve working with the superintendent or technicians assigned to the project to ensure delivery is on time and within budget, as well as selecting and managing all subcontractors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for contributing to, validating, and signing off on all proposals and specifications. Conceptual Phase (estimates & schedules). Program Planning Phase. Design Phase. Conduct Prebid. Construction Phase. Conduct Pre-construction. Effective Close-out. Cost Estimates and schedules. Use of ebuilder for all project documentation per policy manual. Accountable for project cost/budget variance & profitability. Accountable for Quality Assurance. Understanding of subcontractor agreement and corrective measures of notification to subcontractor per the executed agreement. Proper letter notification to non-compliant subcontractor agreement articles, i.e., no waivers of lien for lower tier subs, missing submittals, etc. Set project timelines and goals. Forwards published copies to local Tremco Rep, Superintendent, Facility Contact, and Roofing Subcontractor.
Bidding Stage:
Publishes, approves, and distributes Addendum (where applicable) Receives and reviews bids and agreements
Pre-construction Stage:
Provides established Project Schedule Assists Superintendent in planning and coordinating the Pre-Construction Meeting Provides superintendent with necessary subcontractor information from Bid Form site-specific safety plans, certificates, etc, prior to the Pre-Construction meeting Conducts and processes completed Pre-Construction Meeting documentation and distributes to all applicable parties
Construction Stage:

THIS IS A 2nd SHIFT POSITION THAT WILL TRAIN ON 1ST
GENERAL SUMMARY
Operate extruder to form sheets of pre-matched wax into round sticks for packaging.
Tend machine throughout process and prepare machine for new batches.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned. Follow "Start-up Procedure" to prepare extruder for operation Prepare sheets of pre-matched wax to be formed in extruder Feed wax into extruder and assure proper machine extrusion, with regard to color, texture and length of completed stick Have sample sticks approved by QC before continuing process Perform appropriate cleaning procedures between batches Maintain clean work area

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Construction Manager is responsible for managing all projects (this position will support national accounts).
This will involve working with the superintendent or technicians assigned to the project to ensure delivery is on time and within budget, as well as selecting and managing all subcontractors.
Additional duties will include participating in all proposals, specifications, price estimates, schedules, and sales efforts as they affect the aforementioned projects.
The Construction Manager is responsible for sales and service support, field resources, and customer management communication as necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for contributing to, validating, and signing off on all proposals and specifications. Conceptual Phase (estimates & schedules). Program Planning Phase. Design Phase. Conduct Prebid. Construction Phase. Conduct Pre-construction. Effective Close-out. Cost Estimates and schedules. Use of ebuilder for all project documentation per policy manual. Accountable for project cost/budget variance & profitability. Accountable for Quality Assurance. Understanding of subcontractor agreement and corrective measures of notification to subcontractor per the executed agreement. Proper letter notification to non-compliant subcontractor agreement articles, i.e., no waivers of lien for lower tier subs, missing submittals, etc. Set project timelines and goals. Manage key metrics and report on a regular basis or as required. Coordinate work with Program Managers, sales and service support, customer management (WTI and Tremco Roofing), and resource management. Participate in the preventive and corrective action process with responsibility and authority to: Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformity relating to service, process, and quality. Identify and record any service, process, or quality system problems. Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels. Verify the implementation of solutions. Control further processing, delivery, or installation of non-conforming products until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected. Review all bids received and conduct contractor interviews for specification and contractual compliance. Approve Proposals for submission (i.e.
pricing, specification, scope). Direct Project Manager, technicians, and superintendents. Sign-off on project billings. Responsible for change order negotiation and approval.

Specification Development Stage:
Select the WTI Superintendent for the project. Responsible for the specification detail drawings approval.

Pre-Bid Stage:
Conducts Pre-Bid Meeting, agenda outlines the required format of the Pre-Bid Meeting.
Document responses from Pre-Bid Meeting minutes are documented or audio recorded and compiled into meeting minutes on the form Receives and processes Pre-Bid Meeting Agenda and Sign-In form.
Forwards published copies to local Tremco Rep, Superintendent, Facility Contact, and Roofing Subcontractor.
Bidding Stage:
Publishes, approves, and distributes Addendum (where applicable) Receives and reviews bids and agreements
Pre-construction Stage:
Provides established Project Schedule Assists Superintendent in planning and coordinating the Pre-Construction Meeting Provides superintendent with necessary subcontractor information from Bid Form site-specific safety plans, certificates, etc, prior to the Pre-Construction meeting Conducts and processes completed Pre-Construction Meeting documentation and distributes to all applicable parties
Construction Stage:
Daily receipt and review of Daily Inspection forms. Visits job site as necessary. Receive and review Weekly Progress Meeting Minutes; attend or be involved via conference call. Maintain the project schedule, and process updates from the superintendent. Perform site audits as appropriate. Authorize and generate Change Orders as required. Authorize subcontractor payments. Stages and charges necessary raw materials into process flow tanks.
Follows batch work instructions in order to manufacture quality products.
Prepares disperser and letdown tank for production, including any necessary equipment clean up.
Monitors and controls high-speed disperser, mixer, pumps, flow meters and other instruments in order to make sure that a batch is produced according to work instructions.
Adjust a batch, under QC guidance, until it is approved.
Get batch tickets from floor supervisor and discuss with floor supervisor the best order.
Determine raw materials needed.
Housekeeping - Clean up work area to 5S standards, takes out trash, participate in cycle count and inventory program.
May assist in other departments such as filling, and material handling or help make sample batches
Ensure work area is safe, clean and free of recognizable hazards, communicating all spills or other hazards to the shift supervisor
Responsible for Dust collector cleanouts when required.
Required Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of one year of production experience (compounding/batchmaking)
Able to read batch tickets and prepare labels for products; basic math
Able to operate high-speed dispersers and other operating equipment
Ability to lift 50-100 pounds, read digital scales and flow meters
Experienced forklift operator

Conduct formal requests for quote, tabulate, review and compare bids with specifications to verify conformance; consider the quality of items, services and abilities of the supplier in terms of company needs. Evaluate, monitor, select and revise the supplier base based on price, quality, service/support, warranty, and reliability. Develop monthly reports and measures on purchasing activities.
