ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Produce high-quality products by following established guidelines. Conduct quality inspections in accordance with lab procedures. Associates earn double-time pay for all hours worked in excess of 50 hours in your standard work week! Responsibilities: Operates a variety of packaging and filling lines including: placing of packaging on the line, monitoring the filling operation, packing-off finished product, performing quality checks and assisting in the cleaning and changeover of the line. Assists in maintaining an accurate inventory by proper reporting of material usage, minimizing waste, reporting any spills, and ensuring all items per case and cases per pallet counts are accurate. Utilize RF scanner and SAP system. Maintain production logs to accurately record downtime/issues.
Completes all paperwork accurately. Performs housekeeping duties to ensure a neat and orderly work area. Abides by all departmental and plant safety rules. Works in other areas as required by business needs. Requirements: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Utilize WMS to manage warehouse operations and analyze performance data.
Responds to inquiries regarding shipment status.
Serves as a liaison between Customer Service, Warehouse and Production departments to ensure product availability and priorities.
Cost
Prepare, manage and maintain distribution center budget through reduction of non-value-added activities and increasing efficiencies of current processes.
Manage department budget daily, determining spending priorities with VP of Operations and insuring goals and objectives are being met.
Evaluate current spending to determine areas to reduce costs, streamline expenses to maximize value to operation and still maintain customer service.
Utilize the MS 168 process to provide process improvements and continuous improvement activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
7 to 10 years of experience in the relevant field
Working knowledge of RF warehouse management system
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel software applications
Strong leadership and management skills and experience
Excellent communication skills
Inventory Control and warehouse management systems experience
Must be bilingual in Spanish.

Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices. Work with filling line operators to efficiently change over line equipment for different label, container, and packaging sizes. Improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) on the filling lines by Pareto analysis of OEE data and implementation of Lean Manufacturing tools to reduce downtime. Maintain all operating equipment in satisfactory condition.
Schedule needed repairs to have minimum interference with operations.
Troubleshoot/repair equipment in a timely and efficient manner. Comply with company safety rules and procedures.
Complete daily and shift clean up tasks. Communicate results/ concerns/ issues with supervisor and co-workers.
