Job Responsibilities
Support teachers with the planning and delivery of engaging, differentiated lessons across the primary curriculum
Lead small-group and one-to-one interventions to support pupils' academic progress, including reading, phonics, writing and mathematics
Deliver pre-planned lessons to whole classess, maintaining high expectations of pupil behaviour and achievement
Provide targeted support for pupils with additional learning needs, adapting activities to meet individual needs and abilities
Promote positive behaviour, independence and confidence through consistent classroom management and positive reinforcement
Monitor pupil progress, provide feedback to teachers and contribute to assessment and wider classroom organisation
Qualifications/Experience
Experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
Strong subject/curriculum knowledge relevant to the role
Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
Right to work in the UK
