Social Worker

We are looking for a Social Worker to join our Family Safeguarding Service This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in Frontline and assessment work. About the team The team makes decisions and performs statutory functions to ensure the correct outcomes for children and their families are achieved. They do this by working with children from a range of services, such as CIN (Children in Need) and CP (Child Protection), and due to holding court cases, a few of the children are also in LAC (Looked After Children). Experience with LAC would be desirable but not essential. This post involves providing your own advice and skills in the day-to-day running of the team, supervising social workers and other unqualified professionals in the team, and reporting to the Team manager on performance. About you Knowledge and experience working within a fast-paced Frontline Team such as Child protection and Referral and assessment is essential for this role. You will also hold a degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) As well as 3 years post qualifying experience. What's on offer?
