Business Development Manager
Automotive Aftermarket - Classic car parts / Leisure parts
Due to company growth and evolution, we are keen to speak to Business Development Managers with a proven track record in the automotive aftermarket located in the Buckinghamshire area.
Previous experience of classic car parts is advantageous, in particular developing business with specialist distributors.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a strong pedigree in the automotive parts industry.
Working within a small but successful team, this role will give exposure to the whole customer cycle.
This is an office-based role with regular visits to new and existing customers.
A full driving licence is required.

What you'll need:
Proven experience in the automotive aftermarket is a must!
Experience within the classic car or leisure industries are advantageous.
A background in new business development with the desire to undertake account management task alongside this.
Solid IT skills, with the ability to learn the company's ERP system.
What you'll be doing:
Identify growth opportunities through new business and developing existing accounts.
Visit key customers to build relationships and actively grow business.
Take full ownership of customer accounts, from opening, negotiating price, inputting orders, dealing with customer returns and credits.
Utilise suitable reports to provide areas of growth opportunity, sales trends and stock holding.
Conduct market analysis and research for new product possibilities.
Support Accounts with aged debt collection and invoice queries.
Be responsible for accurate stock holding and purchasing.
Run MRP weekly for Production items.
Send updated schedules to suppliers.
Monitor and communicate incoming deliveries.
Attend trade shows and key industry events.
Support customers at specific events.
Support and actively get involved in Warehouse and Production duties when required.
Work closely with Quality to ensure standards are maintained, assist with customer complaints and new product introduction.
Work closely with Marketing to ensure brand consistency.
Manage social media channels with regular posts and interaction, following Marketing and Company guidelines.

- Responsible for a high volume caseload of Fast Track Personal Injury RTA claims, making use of the firms Case Management Systems and using the agreed internal procedures and practices.
- To progress your caseload in a manner to ensure that clients receive appropriate, professional, timely and pertinent legal advice, with regular contact, whilst managing their expectations.
- To deal with cases with denial of liability and causation arguments with minimal supervision.
- To be able to assess liability and quantum to include reviewing medical reports, researching and obtaining relevant case law, drafting schedules of special damages and assessing suitable awards for compensation.
- To identify early those cases where proceedings would be tactically beneficial to litigate and to do so expeditiously.
- Take a practical but commercial approach to settlements and advising clients as to litigation/cost risks.

- To liaise appropriately and timely with sources, medical agencies, experts, third party insurers and other relevant parties to ensure that cases are pro-actively progressed.
- To attend, where appropriate, court hearings to make representations in respect of the claim before the judiciary.
Where necessary, and in accordance with the firms internal policies and procedures, to instruct Barristers to represent clients at hearings and obtain formal Advice over issues of quantum and liability.
- Perform to a high level in a target orientated environment.
- To undertake any other tasks as deemed relevant and reasonable by the business.
Experience and Knowledge
- Substantial experience of managing your own caseload of Fast Track RTA litigated claims.
- Excellent litigator with strong drafting skills and the ability to negotiate appropriate settlements at the optimum time.
- A solid working knowledge of the CPR, legislation and relevant case law
- Competent working with a case management system and good knowledge of MS Office
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Mobile Occupational Health Technician to join one of the UK's leading providers of occupational health service.
This full-time role offers salary up to £27,000 for 37.5 hourswork week and benefits.
As an Occupational Health Technician in a multidisciplinary team, you will perform health screening procedures following company protocols General baseline measurements: height, weight, blood pressure, and urinalysis.
In this role you will need to travel across the UK, operating a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) to various client locations to provide health surveillance services.
You must have parking available for the unit at or near your home.
You will be responsible for:
* Conduct health surveillance screenings, including audiometry, lung function tests, and drug and alcohol testing.
* Perform baseline health measurements and engage in health promotion activities.
* Accurately record medical information and maintain the integrity of occupational health records.
* Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and fit for use.
* Support the occupational health team with non-clinical tasks, such as filing and tidying.
What we are looking for:
* Previous experience working as Occupational Health Technician, Occupational Health Nurse, Screening Nurse or in a similar role.
* ideally have experience in a healthcare, medical screening, or occupational health setting.
* Ability to maintain accurate and confidential health records.
* Valid UK driving licence.

* 8am - 6pm (37.5 hour)

As Management Accountant you will be leading member of a small but dynamic finance team responsible for producing accurate and timely management accounts, forecasts and insight to support the business achieve its financial targets.

Management Accounts
Ownership and regular updating of lead schedules to support month-end close process
Processing monthly revenue and cost journals to ensure accurate financial results are reported in line with the monthly timetable
Reconciling actual invoiced costs with operational cost models
Producing insightful financial performance reports with key revenue and cost drivers
Presenting financial performance to Operations highlighting trends and variances to support the business achieve its financial targets

Working with Operations to prepare monthly forecasts and annual budgets with supporting narrative, assumptions and variances
Preparing high level forecasts and scenarios based on key metrics

Assisting the annual year-end audit with the production of audit evidence and explanations
Periodically reviewing and updating process documents
Highlighting process improvements and working alongside Operations and Finance to implement changes

As Management Accountant, you must be/have:
At least 3 years' experience working in a management accounting role in a multi business unit organisation
Possess an enquiring and commercial mindset with ability to understand business models and see the big picture
Confident at operating and communicating at all levels of the Company, Division and Group
Solid understanding of all key financial and system processes i.e.
customer billing, credit control, purchase invoice processing and payment, month end accounting and reporting
Experience of using core functionality of an accounting application such as Microsoft Business Central
Experience of using excel based querying and reporting software to extract data and present insightful financial information
Confident at using advanced functionality in MS Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Powerpoint)
Strong work ethic, positive can-do attitude and pro-active problem solver
High level of professionalism and awareness of processing confidential information
Qualifications
Essential: Finalist / Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
Desirable: Educated to degree level with 1st or 2:1 qualification
