Additionally provide assistance and support to the Maintenance Mechanic in making repairs throughout the plant.
Here's what you can expect every day:
Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate. Inspecting drives, motors, and belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or performing other maintenance actions, following checklists. Using tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices. Assemble, install, or repair: wiring, piping, machinery, and equipment. Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. Diagnose mechanical problems and determining how to correct them, utilizing repair manuals and parts catalogs as necessary. Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work.

Learn all manual tasks performed within the department. Perform tasks assigned using specific operating procedures, and following department specific quality control processes and procedures. Required Experience:
High school graduate or equivalent. 1-3 years of industrial experience. Experience with filling and packaging equipment. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures. Ability to do basic math and enter computer data. Ability to coordinate with the work of others and solve problems in a team environment. Active participation in our Continuous Improvement Process. Ability to lift 75 pounds. Willingness to work overtime as required.
Additional Consideration Given to Those With:

Summary:
Carboline is looking for a data-driven, transformational, leader to be our Director of SIOP.
This individual will lead Carboline's integrated Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process to drive alignment between demand, supply, and financial plans.
As a key member of the Supply Chain leadership team, the Director will partner with Commercial, Operations, Finance, Product Management and Market leaders to embed SIOP discipline across the business.

Facilitate Executive SIOP reviews to highlight demand-supply risks, inventory positions, and financial implications.
Ensure demand planning outputs are translated into actionable supply and inventory requirements.
Partner with Operations and Procurement to align capacity, sourcing, and distribution with inventory strategies.
Provide scenario modeling for inventory trade-offs during constraints, new product launches, and major projects.
Leverage system analytics to enable real-time visibility to inventory and planning performance.
Standardize metrics and dashboards across operations.
Lead continuous improvement in planning and inventory management maturity, including digital tools, automation, and advanced analytics.

Product Portfolio
Translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements and specifications.
Work closely with technology, operations, and other teams to ensure requirements are well understood and feasible. Guide product through its lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and post-launch evaluation, and end-of-life decisions.
Lead the product project priorities and a disciplined stage-gate process, in alignment with the company's strategic goals and initiatives. Contribute to segment strategy, including market research/trends/assessments, customer feedback on demand/needs/success factors, and evaluating competitive alternatives to inform product positioning. Analyze portfolio for opportunities to remove inefficiencies, implement strategic pricing, and other benefits. Work closely with commercial and marketing teams to develop effective communication on product features and placements. Oversee project management aspects, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure timely and successful product releases.
Reporting & Communication
Prepare periodic reports on projects/initiatives, including results vs expected performance metrics. Communicate frequently with leadership on priorities and expectations. Provide collaboration with RPM businesses.
Knowledge
Stay current with segment trends, emerging technologies, and customer needs.
Contribute to improving profitability across all segments/portfolios. Develop knowledge and share best practices with leaders and functional teams.
Skills and Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or technical field or equivalent experience.
Experience:
7+ years of experience in a product/portfolio manager role, preferably in the core company markets or a related sector.
Core Skills:
Strong ability to communicate effectively across a range of stakeholders, including senior executives. Thorough knowledge of portfolio, value propositions, and product manager skills.
