Operating a CNC press brake to produce customer orders on time
Setting up the machine, reading from drawings, programming, and tooling changes.
Manoeuvring materials on and off the machines, using an electrical pallet stacker.
Marking up the pressed parts and packing.

Role overview, CNC Laser Operator
As a CNC Laser Operator you will be running a modern 4m 10kw fibre laser with the latest controls.
Programming is done offline so you will focus on loading, unloading, monitoring cut quality, and keeping production flowing smoothly.
Experience with Mazak is great, although operators with Bystronic, Amada or similar backgrounds are encouraged to apply since training can be provided.
CNC Laser Operator Key Responsibilities
- Operating a high-power fibre laser safely and efficiently
- Loading sheet material and monitoring cutting performance
- Selecting programs, adjusting parameters when needed, and checking first off parts
- Inspecting finished profiles for accuracy and edge quality
- Basic machine care and keeping the work area organised
- Working with the wider team to hit daily output targets
Requirements for CNC Laser Operators
- Experience as a CNC Laser Operator within fabrication or production
- Knowledge of fibre laser operation on Mazak, Amada, Bystronic, Trumpf or similar
- Confident reading simple engineering drawings
- Strong focus on quality, safety, and reliable output
- Willingness to learn and progress to a higher grade with training

Overview
A long-established precision engineering firm is seeking an experienced CNC Miller Setter to support the production of complex, tight-tolerance components for high-specification industries.
Role Purpose
Set and operate CNC milling machines using Fanuc or Mazak controls, ensuring all parts are produced accurately to drawing and specification.
Key Duties
- Set and run CNC milling machinery.
