Essential Functions:
Presents and promotes Stonhard/Liquid Elements products and services to architectural, design and engineering firms with a specific geographic region.
Works with Design Build construction firms. Maintains accurate files and records involving Stonhard accounts by executing necessary paperwork such as maintaining a Salesforce Automation (SFA) database with projects and activities associated with that project and/or account.
Communicates closely with Stonhard Territory Managers/Project Engineers/Market Managers/Business Development Managers regarding project recommendations, bidding, estimating, and quoting of projects within his/her SFA project pipeline.
Gives group presentations to architects, interior designers and engineers relating to Stonhard/Liquid Elements products and services.
Meets or exceed Stonhard's minimum activity standards for quotes and orders as set by Stonhard sales management. Contacts a minimum of 10-15 clients in-person per week.
Enter a minimum of 5 new projects per week within Salesforce.

The Field Operations Manager (FOM) will report directly to the Regional Business Manager (RBM).

Act as a liaison between headquarters and the field to ensure effective two-way communication and positive results.
Develop an ongoing strategy to manage and grow existing business within existing markets and with all new strategic markets developed by WTI or Tremco Roofing and Building Maintenance management.
Assess daily operational situations for crisis management, safety, and escalation protocol. Determine solutions to project issues, including but not limited to field resource management, workload balance, job site conditions, product management issues, etc. Travel to job sites as needed to provide support to regional resources (including rooftop projects).
Travel to customer or sales meetings as needed to support business or regional activities.
Manage all WTI personnel in the assigned region.
Depending on the region's sales volume, personnel can range from 10 to over 100. Develop regional resources for daily operations, growth, and employee development.
Identify resource or employee concerns and resolve and engage appropriate HR or WTI management promptly.
Ensure documentation of employee issues is prompt and submitted to HR.
Act as an agent of change and improvement , and adapt quickly to changing business priorities. Manage regional financial data, including but not limited to identifying trends, correcting utilization, and addressing gross margin and/or operating income issues.
Review individual job financials and make changes as needed to correct poor performance and prevent future repetitive issues.
Forecast, analyze, and report on sales and establish financial performance metrics.
Establish criteria for success and provide leadership for the regional team's achievement of goals.
Develop workforce planning, recruiting, and retention strategies to maintain the optimum performance of the region. Establish, define, and communicate a clear strategic direction and targets for goal attainment for the regional team. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
This role is to educate WTI personnel on proper product use application, provide installation training on and off the roof, oversee large self-performed projects from start to finish with intermittent inspections, and post-completion inspections of smaller projects.
The QCS will perform regular job site visits during the project and post-project completion.
The goal is to provide consistency across the country with proper roof repairs and application of our products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure proper execution and delivery of all WTI GS and GC self-performed roofing work. Provide a variety of technical and application training sessions in the field and in a shop setting. Provide hands on application training and supervision of roof coatings and installation. Attend pre-con's on large projects.
Be present at job start-ups to discuss the proper execution of the scope of work.
Visit the projects at specific intervals to assess the completed work and provide any direction or corrective advise.
Perform a pre-final inspection to ensure that the projects have a zero punch-list.
Perform final inspections when needed.
Pre-project field inspections and technical support including but not limited to Peel tests Product recommendations Proper product installations Post-project completion inspection to ensure quality workmanship and proper utilization and application of materials. Product diagnostic support to ensure that WTI is kept out of trouble in misuse of products for the situation. Perform roof inspections with written reports and photo documentation. Perform safety audits while on site to ensure all safety requirements are being met and consult with the safety team when necessary. Communicate professionally with our Technicians, Foremen, Supervisors, Field Operations Managers, Regional Business Managers, Corporate Staff, and the Sales Team. Complete daily reports including DTA's, Safety Audits, Truck Audits, and QC Inspection Reports as necessary and applicable. Complete weekly/monthly activity reports as requested.
